Overview
Experience the thrill of a guided self-drive 4×4 adventure through the green lanes of South, Mid and North Wales. This five-day tour includes four nights of camping and takes you along some of the most iconic and lesser-travelled routes in Wales.
Itinerary
Monday 17th August 2026
Meet at 09:45 near Aberafan Beach for a welcome, introduction, and safety briefing. The first trails take us north through the Afan Forest, before driving the iconic Sarn Helen Roman Road (green lane) into Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons). The day finishes around 16:00 near Sennybridge – Brecon Beacons Wild Camping – https://www.facebook.com/breconcamping
Tuesday 18th August 2026
We make our way along Trecastle Rooman Road into Carmarthenshire, exploring Sennybridge training area and Tirabad Roman Road. The route heads north towards Llandrindod Wells and into the heart of the Elan Valley for our overnight camp at Elan Oaks.
Wednesday 18th August 2026
After camping overnight in the Elan Valley, drive the iconic Strata Florida green lane. The day concludes around 16:30 back at our riverside campsite in the Elan Valley.
Thursday 19th August 2026
We pack up camp and head north to trails around Nant Yr Arian, Nant Y Moch, and the Dyfi Estuary. Camp overnight in the shadow of Cadair Idris, the second highest peak in Snowdonia National Park.
Friday 20th August 2026
Explore more lanes around Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), concluding with fantastic views (weather permitting) of Cardigan Bay and Barmouth.

- Stay near Cadair Idris for a leisurely start or to visit the Mach Loop on Wednesday 12th August (£12.50 per night per person).
- Extend your adventure with extra nights on the coast (campsite fees not included).

Booking & Payment
- Select your tour options and checkout.
- Use ‘Pay by BACS’ at checkout to receive an invoice for a 25% deposit (£175 non-refundable) within 3–5 working days.
- Any outstanding balance must be paid 4 weeks prior to the tour start date (11th July 2026).
- If the balance is not paid in full by the due date , your booking may be cancelled, and your deposit may be lost. All deposits are non-refundable.
