Perfect for adventure seekers eager to explore stunning landscapes with expert guidance.\nGroup one will be led by Mark – Please select your guide by ‘Ticket type’\nGroup two will be led by Adam – Please select your guide by ‘Ticket type’\nEach group may take a slightly different route, but will include the full length of Strata Florida\nTour Overview\n\nDate: Friday 18th September  2026\nMeeting Point: Llandovery SA20 0AR, 09:45 (welcome, introduction, and safety briefing)\nFinish: Around 16:30 near Llandovery\nPrice: £120 per vehicle per day (including VAT)\nRoute: Strata Florida North to South, Crychan Forest and Trecastle Roman Road (time permitting).\n\nItinerary\n\nBegin in Llandovery with a group welcome and safety briefing.\nDrive through Mid Wales into the Cambrian Mountains.\nTackle one of Wales’ best-known and challenging 4×4 routes.\nEnjoy a wilderness lunch stop (please bring your own packed lunch).\nFinish near the historic Strata Florida Abbey, before we make our way to Elan Oaks Campsite (for those staying overnight please book your own camping/accommodation).\n\nWhat’s Included\n\nLed by an experienced and qualified 4×4 instructor.\nSupport/lead vehicle, fully equipped for emergencies\nVehicle diagnostics equipment for a wide variety of vehicles\nGarmin InReach GPS beacon for safety\nPMR/CB radios supplied for all participants\nExcellent local knowledge and guidance throughout the day\n\nSuitability & Requirements\n\nRoute Difficulty: Moderate to technical. Suitable for vehicles with low range and minimum All Terrain tyres. Not recommended for novice drivers or low profile tyres. Please ask if you’re unsure about your vehicle’s suitability.\nParticipants: Individuals, couples, groups, and families welcome.\nDog Friendly: Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead for most routes.\nLunch: Please bring a packed lunch for the wilderness stop.\nVehicle Notice: Light scratching or minor damage (e.g., to alloy wheels) is possible due to the nature of the adventure.\nWeather: Driving Strata Florida is subject to weather conditions.
